My new post relates to an awesome, interactive new tool I have just discovered called ScreenChomp. ScreenChomp is a free app that can be downloaded via the App store (must have Apple product to use) and can be used by both the teacher and the student. This app allows for student and teacher, and student-student interaction. It allows for students to upload their homework, or work on an interactive white board to figure out those tough math problems.
Having problems figuring out what to do? No problem! This app lets student share a special URL on social media, seeking for other students help or teacher support. If another student sees their peer has asked for help, they simply log on to their account and can send a video to support the student and guide them, or send them an image explaining how they did it! The teacher can also log in and interact with the student, leaving voice recorded feedback, or creating video tutorials for students to see.
Overall, if your classroom is equipped with iPads, and the majority of your students have one at home, this app is for you!
Below, I have attached a slideshow I have created, outlining the specs and features of this app. Informational videos are attached in the slideshow for more information about ScreenChomp!
